JOINED FACEBOOK
I finally gave in to the F word (read: FACEBOOK) after lots of persuasion, repeated requests & expletives as to why I wasn't there. Well, actually I was there pretty normal like you guys..orkutting..facebooking..so called socializing but some Bura Hadsa occurred and I went into oblivion (coma!!) ... still in Recuperation
Why I Finally Joined Facebook?
So I’ve been putting off joining Facebook mostly because I haven’t had time to set it up (lame I know) but partly because I wanted to be one of the last people on the planet (just kidding) to join. I sometimes feel its all fluke in the name of so-called socialising/networking (Found it a waste of time and big hypocrisy!). Kind of strange to think about really. But I broke down and joined Facebook today.
So why did I join now? Here are some reasons:
- I had some (many) friends invite me to join. Some literally cursed me for not being there.
- I saw so many people endorsing Facebook. I think they has to get a commission or something from Facebook which probably would make them very happy. So I joined the band wagon to find out the commission rate and to get my share!!
- I started to feel like I was missing out on something (peer pressure, curiosity)
- I wanted to learn more about the advertising options on Facebook (Facebook Ads)
- I’m hoping someone at Facebook will re-discover me
So who is happy that Anirban is finally on Facebook? I think pretty much everyone...even Anirban is!! :-) (Bawesh, Ron happy?)
