A good morning

By ANIRBAN CHATTERJIE

After staying awake whole night last night, I had a fresh start this morning!!

Enjoyed seeing the morning scenario after a really long time.
The streets thinly concealed by dew of night…the air so fresh and pure and the feeling after taking in a lung full – simply non-describable.
No sunlight hence No frowning on people’s face.
The busy newspaper vendors classifying the freshly delivered dailies. And the Fish mongers quarrelling for a better bargain or forecasting their sales for the day. Ah! What a sight…
The best of all: Seeing a small child, though all dressed for school and still wishing he was in bed!! That sleepy little cute face of the child is bound to make the teacher fall in love.
A minivan zoomed by me and there were so many faces inside: some sleepy. Some cheerful…though it was the excited bunch to wave me a good bye. What could I do in reply? Than fall in love…
I remember a teacher of mine back in school, used to teach me Bengali in Class 6. I see her this morning waiting to board the train on her way to teach.
Assembly, Prayer, Principal’s speech, in line to class, classes, friends and innocence: Why don’t the best things in life last forever?
I pick up something I used to throughout childhood: THE TELEGRAPH (I am Times reader now).
Parthoda responds with: “a very good morning”, a response I don’t get daily when I am late for work!

Surprisingly, the surprise on everyone’s face this morning didn't surprise me at all.

A very good morning guys…
