Delhi Belly

By ANIRBAN CHATTERJIE

Watched ‘Delhi Belly’ with Ron. First time path breaking Revolution and Revelation in Indian Cinema.

Hats off to the creative genius – Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Indian Censor Board!! Wonderful casting and extraordinary presentation.

Loved Vijay Raj – one of the most underrated actors in the industry (his capabilities should be exploited more)

FIRST TIME WHILE WATCHING A MOVIE NEVER MISSED THE PERSON WHO MADE ME HER EX.

Feel like singing: I still love you and couldn’t hate you…

A MESSAGE: YOUR ACT OF SELFISHNESS AND GENETIC INSANITY SCREWED MY WISHES TO HAVE A NORMAL LIFE BUT HOPE TO RECOVER SOMEDAY AND I WILL STILL WISH THEN THAT NOBODY SCREWS YOU...TAKE CARE!

inquiring or enquiring...whatever!!

By ANIRBAN CHATTERJIE

I always had this confusion since childhood over inquiry and enquiry. My memory failed me and hence I forgot to ask Mr. Robert Watt, Sheru di and Mrs.Moitra (my favorite teachers who taught me English). May be I did ask. Don’t remember, my memory fails me anyways I still seem confused over it’s difference. So I googled and got this:

The en- prefix derives from French, whereas the in- form comes from Latin.

Enquiry and inquiry do not mean exactly the same thing.

Some organizations such as newspapers tend to prefer the in- form, but a distinction should be made between, for example, an official inquiry and an informal enquiry.

For example, a journalist will ring a PR professional and make an enquiry about a topic. Enquiry is used when asking a question or seeking information.

Inquiry is for official investigations (analysis, investigations, post mortem, etc). i.e. The senate will hold an inquiry into fuel prices.

Apart from the difference of formal and informal, I am still not clear so still inquiring or enquiring...!!

Cool line!

Came across a cool line this morning. It was a page in FB and I bumped into it through links. Here is the screenshot:
Dual meaning eh? What do you mean 'how do I taste?' Unclear as to what the founder meant but well framed!
